Java/GWT Developer
My Leading Banking client based in Ireland is looking for a Java/GWT Developer to join a large and exciting project.
The Senior Engineer will work with the Applications Development Manager, Business Analyst and with Architects to deliver technical solutions to meet business requirements within a software development life cycle. They will have the ability to work in a highly pressured environment and meet delivery timelines with a high degree of client satisfaction. The appropriate candidate will continuously improve software quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* To be an integral part of a development team responsible for delivering technical solutions to complex, global, enterprise level projects.
* Responsible for enabling strong software development practices in a team of both permanent and contracted resources.
* Work with the Domain architects and Business Analysts in application design and development.
* Will work closely with Program Management and Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules.
* Be responsible for delivering software on time to required standards.

Desirable skills:
* Experience with banking, transactional applications and processes would be advantageous.
* Experience in projects using different development methodologies including Agile
