Description
Synergy Consulting Group is looking for a Java Developer for an eight month contract with a Fortune 500 company in the Cleveland area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing application software development for system enhancements, potentially across a variety of technology platforms.
The salary for this position is $50 an hour.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Help support other MIS areas by building and delivering shared technology platforms that they can leverage to accomplish their business needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
4 - 7 years relevant experience in Information Technology
Experience mentoring less experienced software developers
Experience conducting code reviews, enforcing Stage Gates, and ensuring conformity to best practices and reference architectures
Capacity to learn new technologies, enhance existing products, and grow product offerings through development of (and for) in-house applications
Commitment to providing good customer service
Experience with one or more of the following Middleware technologies: WebSphere MQ 7.x, WebSphere ESB 7.x, WebSphere Message Broker 7.x or IBM Integration Bus 9 or later
Experience with web services, SOAP, REST, XML and XSDs
Understanding of full software development life cycle, quality control processes, and build and deploy procedure
Value-Added Skills:
Experience programming in Java/JEE
Experience building Microsoft BizTalk Orchestrations (BizTalk 2010 experience preferred)
