ABOUT THE PROJECT
GTN Technical Staffing is currently seeking a senior PM/BA for a contract opportunity in Lewisville, TX. This position identifies, develops, and executes projects while managing and controlling the project life cycle process to ensure timely delivery of quality solutions. The Sr. Project Manager will formulate an approach in collaboration with Business Partners and Project teams to define, analyze, design, implement and/or support business application/systems. The Sr. Project Manager will design and develop detailed functional systems and program specifications using structured design methodologies. The Sr. Project Manager will work closely with IT Application Development and IT Infrastructure groups to ensure timely delivery of all projects. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for the design and development of standard practices and effective communication, and serves in an on-going partnership with Business Partners to provide resolution to issues with systems or business processes/procedures. The Sr. Project Manager will provide support to Business Partners in analysing specific business initiatives and identifying the appropriate application system solution through integration of processes, systems and information to fulfil business objectives.
Directs the project throughout the life cycle, defining project objectives, aligning project resources to achieve goals and ensuring established timelines are met.  Drive the initial review to identify and gather documental for business and functional requirements. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of business operations and understands the technical scope and objectives of the project. Provides leadership in analysing functional requirements, procedures and problems to automate processing and/or improve systems. Defines detailed description of user needs, program functions and steps required to develop or modify systems. Examples of artifacts from analysts are Business Requirement Documents, Current and Proposed flow diagrams. Follows Software Development Life Cycle policies and procedures. Coordinate with Business Partners, Technical Analysts and Developers to identify and define specifications, indicate areas of system impact and continuously communicate project status and needs. Develops, analyzes and manages project schedules and appropriate project management documentation. Serves as a subject matter expert for Business Partners throughout the project development life cycle to ensure their needs are addressed. Provides leadership throughout the project development process to ensure that it meets stated requirements. Manages change control processes, and ensures program/project communications. Negotiates project plans, time frames, and trade-off with Business Partners, and apprises management of impact to project. Develops Technical Requirements Documents. Executes/Validates Test cases for projects on a pre and post production basis to ensure all requirements are fulfilled. Coordinates testing of enhancements and develops and provides educational tools and materials.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 
5+ years experience with the following skill sets
Project Management experience as well as previous Business Analysis experience
Technical Writing/Process Flow Documentation
Highly skilled in managing all aspects of all sizes and complexities of multiple projects simultaneously across the software development life cycle phases (SDLC).
