Are you an open, enthusiastic, self motivated individual with a can do attitude?A highly regarded Higher Education Institution is in urgent need of an experienced Data Analyst/BA for a 6 month contract. Your main responsibility will be to oversee the Data Migration work stream for the S tudent System Programme. With close collaboration between IT Services and S tudent Administration, the Programme is split across 4 functional work-streams delivering admissions, S tudent administration, fees & funding and exams & assessments, and 6 cross-cutting work-streams; testing, data migration, interfaces & integration, reporting, training and technical.
You will require skills in data modelling, data modelling tools (ERwin preferable but not essential), data definitions and experience of working on data related projects for example, data migration, BI, reporting, interfaces, data quality.
Essential skills:
- An appreciation of the issues on data related projects and how data architecture can help to resolve these issues.
- Proven business analysis experience, including strong influence in business process analysis and re-engineering.
- Configuring software packages as well as working on a variety of projects, including large software implementations.
- You must have experience working within the public sector - preferably within the education sector.
Desirable:
- Experience of SITS: Vision
