DESCRIPTION:
- Work with subject matter experts in Data Management and Information Technology to define objectives of documentation;
- Create product service manuals to assist users in the migration of their reports and application to the new Enterprise Data Warehouse;
- Create documentation and training collateral for new approaches and capabilities to be used by the Information Technology group in support of the migration of users;
- Transform project requirements documentation into user service manuals;
- Define process, create Release Notes and train staff to maintain the Release Notes process;
- Validate usability and accuracy of resulting documentation with test users;
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with other writers/subject matter experts.
- Weekly, monthly status reports, as may be required by reporting manager(s);
- Other duties as may be required.
SKILLS:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical writing role for software implementation teams
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Capital Markets, either in technical writing or other roles
- Understanding of systems architecture and reporting tools, such as Business Intelligence
- Strong technical skills and proficient in MS Office including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience in working with software development teams
- Ability to depict material in an illustrative fashion in order to communicate complex concepts
- Must be flexible and have ability to interact with users and developers
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a deadline driven environment
- A fast learner, resourceful, and a willingness to take initiative as a strong team player.
