Description
Rewards Analyst with relevant job evaluation experience required for initial 4 month contract with public sector organisation in Edinburgh.
Duties will include:
- Carry out a detailed and evidence based review into how the company recruit for "hard to fill" roles and how to retain employees in these roles. The review will focus on the remuneration aspect of this challenge. You will then take forward the outcome of this review
- Review all allowances and make recommendations on changes to keep them aligned to business need and take forward the outcome of this review
- Analyse current job evaluation system and develop recommendations/business case for possible replacement.
- Review and update travel and subsistence policy and relocation manual
Essential Skills:
- Relevant specialist job evaluation training such as Towers Watson/Hay grading systems
- Experience of successfully delivering a significant and relevant change project (ie introduction of a new job evaluation system or reward strategy)
- In depth knowledge of remuneration strategy and job evaluation
Desirable Skills:
- Relevant professional qualification
- Experience working in an unionised environment
- Knowledge of relevant HMRC rules and processes
- Knowledge of the Equality Act
