Description
My client who is based in Brussels requires a Junior Network engineer to join their team on a 12 month contract. The candidate must have a driving license and have 1 year minimum experience working with networks.
Key Requirements-
Indicatively with focus on several of the domains indicated below:
- Excellent knowledge of ITIL best practices in ICT operations.
- Excellent knowledge of human resources aspects of operations such as, but not limited to, competencies, work volumes, change management, training.
- Excellent knowledge of tools for ICT management: standards, market trends, practical implementations.
- Excellent technical knowledge of ICT infrastructure and systems in their domain of expertise.
- Recent practical experience with ICT operations in their domain of expertise: setup of operations, conducting of operations, implementation and follow-up of SLAs.
- IP network operations.
- Operations of basic network services: security, DNS Servers, Proxy Servers, Firewalls, etc.
- Operations of telecommunication services: telephony over IP, videoconference, video on demand, streaming services, security services (electronic signature, etc.).
- Automation and reengineering.
