Description
Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for a Project Manager, experienced in IC development projects. You will be responsible for setting up and managing large, high profile and complex (IC) development projects with strong customer commitment. From study / idea to completion (released for mass production), you will manage a multi-disciplinary team of 20 - 50 FTE, consisting of (IC) design, package development, test & product engineering, product marketing, architects and application engineers. Managing and communicating with external and internal partners (customers, design houses, project members from other departments) is part of the responsibility.REQUIRED SKILLS:
• University education in business management or a technical discipline or having reached this level through another form of training and experience.
• Knowledge of project management methods and of (software) estimation techniques, understanding all areas of project management.
• Knowledge and understanding of disciplines with which co-operation has to take place.
• Knowledge of change management principles and processes.
• Understanding the characteristics of the automotive market is desirable
• Directing and motivating Senior project members, with good coaching skills required.
• Skills in negotiations, influencing and dealing with conflicting interests.
• Minimum of ten years relevant experience in multi-complex projects in product development.
• Experience with development of complex (mixed signal) semiconductor products
• Five or more years of work experience as a project manager in a large (>20 FTE) project lifecycles, from business development to final delivery.
• Experience of Leading cross-functional teams with multiple disciplines representation at different sites and/or regions.
• Experience in negotiations with third parties
