Description
Our client, a leading Industrial company based in Zurich is currently seeking a Java developer to get hands-on with on ongoing project, this project will run to the end of the year with optional extension.
The responsibilities of the Java Engineer include;
Design the online User-Interface for web-based (browser-based) application
* Create functional design deliverables (including page-flow, business logic, validations, etc.)
* Manage requirement confirmation & design workshops
* Perform usability analysis of the application User-Interface
* Perform System Testing on the web-based application
* Support SIT/UAT testing & to perform bug fix
* Perform code build and deployment of the completed codes into the development and testing environment
Skills Required:
* J2EE application development
* Basic Java, JavaScript, CSS, JSP & JQ
* Basic SQL knowledge
* Basic knowledge of Java Application Server (eg Weblogic, Jboss, WebSphere, etc.)
* Familiarity with Telco industry is preferred
Preferred:
* Familiar with data transport using HTTP/web service
* Basic knowledge on use of Spring is preferred
* German language skills (English mandatory)
