Technical Product Leader - Belgium - English-speaking
c. 3 months initially - euro; Market-rate
This organisation has a Solution Strategy and Portfolio Management (SSPM) team which is responsible for the current and future solution portfolios. As such, innovation projects are initiated and followed up by this team and in close collaboration with R&D innovative concepts are prototyped and commercialized. This position is working in the in-car connectivity space.
The Project Lead will be responsible to validate the different architectural options, perform different feasibility studies, refine and finalize the product concept and start all needed activities to bring the project towards a next phase in its development.
As a technical project lead, your role will be:
Review the current Hardware concept with relevant stakeholders within R&D (RF, antenna, HW architecture, SW architecture, etc)
Coordinate/perform the analysis of relevant documentation on required technologies
Set-up a detailed test plans for feasibility studies and prepare the test set-up (hardware set-up, in-car tests and lab tests)
Document the findings/draw conclusions relevant for the project follow-up
Refine the final product concept together with the Client's core team; and provide the needed
In-put so that management can make well-informed decisions on the next project steps
The candidate:
Project Management experience for Embedded devices, preferably in an automotive context; with : track record in deploying and delivering service and development projects in both Agile and waterfall models
PMP or Prince 2 certification
IP Networking technology experience
Product definition, Product ownership, Feasibility testing
Experience leading a team
Desired technical knowledge:
Interface technologies: LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, DVB-T
Knowledge on connected car related standards very uesful: OBDII, E-OBD etc
Knowledge on automotive solutions on the market is a plus
Languages:
English is mandatory; Dutch is a bonus
