Database Administrator DBA: Oracle, MSSQL, PL/SQL, GXP, SOX
My client, a world renowned global organisation is currently setting up a project to migrate applications from Legacy Servers to their internal cloud and are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with an particular focus on Orcale and MSSQL and experience in the following areas:
o Knowledgeable in Database Administration for Oracle and MSSQL databases
o Knowledge of database theory and design
o Knowledge of structured query language (SQL)
o General understanding of distributed computing architectures
o General understanding of the underlying operating system, eg Windows, Unix, Linux,
o General understanding of storage technologies, memory management, disk arrays, networking
o General understanding of routine maintenance, recovery, and handling failover of a Database
o Fluent in English - oral and written
o Previous experience in Application Migration project in a regulated environment is a defining factor
o Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment
o Good written and verbal communication skills
o Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks
o Ability to flow to the work and get hands on when needed
