Description
I'm looking for a Java Developer to work on server and client side applications for a leading travel company based in Central London. As a Java Developer, you be Involved in design and implementation of a high transactional/high volume Java application for their travel site.You will be working in a team of Java developers delivering their checkout functionality for the flights and packages offering.
Responsibilities:
- Working with onshore and offshore developers.
- Team use agile software development methodology.
- Develop presentation framework components.
- Translation of functional specifications into high-performance, logical technical designs and code.
- Write quality, highly scalable, robust code for applications with solid object-orientated programming techniques.
Essential Skills:
- 6-7 years experience in Java/J2EE
- Enterprise application development experience
- SpringMVC
- FreeMarker
- Web Services
- JavaScript including AJAX
Desirable Skills:
- Working on high transactional sites/high volume
- Agile/Scrum
- TDD/BDD
