Description
We're looking for a Jr. to Mid level IA/UI experienced in information architecture and user interface design, preferably with mobile application experience. You will be working alongside the design director designing iPhone, iPad and Android mobile sites and applications. This is a very strategically important role and it's a great opportunity to work on and concept high-end consumer facing products!
Although we're ideally seeking someone with mid-level experience, we will consider strong entry level candidates a well! You must have wireframes or site map samples to back up your thought process and experience. Even if you have sketches or comp work, you must be able to show that you understand how to think like a UI designer/IA.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes/Uses qualitative and quantitative data to define scalable and forward thinking systems.
- Analyzes and determines content taxonomy.
- Analyze competitors' web and mobile user experiences.
- Produce high-quality deliverables, including sitemaps, wireframes, clickable prototypes, conceptual models, etc.
- Communicate and collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, and site authors in all stages of production.
- 1-3 years of experience as UI designer or Information Architect.
- Well thought out portfolio with a demonstrated focus on mobile application design.
- Strong understanding of technical constraints and UX best practices, in mobile and web technologies.
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator) and experience with other standard UI applications.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A good sense of humor!
