Senior Developer, Operations and Infrastructure, Python. HTML. jQuery / Javascript. Git. Jenkins. Bamboo. Nagios.Senior Developer and Operations and Infrastructure role based in Vienna, very urgent, 6 months in duration at least.
Job role.
The role consists in the development of new applications and the further development of existing applications. This includes not only the actual programming, but the participation in the entire process from requirements elicitation to productive status of an application.
Consequently, the software developer will be involved in taking up specifications, analysis and design tasks.
Development Python / JS programs and modules.
Conception, development and integration of Python / JS components.
Implementation of module tests.
Programme documentation.
Possibly also used in several projects.
Proactive communication with the Project Manager regarding possible problems and suggestions for improvement.
Operations
The task will involve operating , monitoring, extension and automation of the development, Infrastructure and the establishment of a centralized application monitoring and the participation in the overall process.
Construction and maintenance build and Deployment nfrastructure and CI.
Help and support in Linux / VmWare.
Support in Test Automation.
System documentation.
Knowledge and skills
Python.
HTML / jQuery / Javascript.
Git.
Jenkins / Bamboo.
Nagios.
EDV- or technically oriented education at a technical college or university or University of Applied Sciences ( or an equivalent training completed ) or at least 5 years of professional experience as a software developer.
Object-oriented system modelling ( UML , Use Cases ) and Database Modeling ( ER).
SQL skills.
Fluent German is highly desirable, although not essential.
