Description
A multinational organisation is looking to hire a conscientious VAT accountant to join its Finance team in Dublin. This job is a 12 month contract position and offers a French speaking VAT accountant a wonderful opportunity to further develop their career.
In order to be considered for this job, you need to have 2 years+ previous VAT experience. Fluent French is seen as an advantage as is a specific tax qualification. Strong communication skills are important, as is the ability to meet strict deadlines. Advanced Excel is a must.
Responsibilities:
Manage and assist in the preparation of monthly reporting and Vat balances
Submission of VAT returns and Intrastat returns for European entities
Ensure payments to authorities are made on time
Maintain tax knowledge and ensure indirect tax compliance in operational business
Ad-hoc project work
