Whitebridge Group the specialist Performance Management Consultancy are looking for a Data Analyst for a major HR and Finance IT transformation programme. The principle role of the Data Analyst will be to support the Data Migration, Reconciliation and Assurance capability within the project. The role has a joint function covering data migration and the interface analysis and design to support the lift and shift of interfaces from source systems to target.
Key responsibilities will include:

Interaction with data customers throughout the migration process to ensure complete data understanding.

Retrieve data from the clients existing system via remote software and ftp.

Check, validate and migrate the data.

Possible conversion of new formats and data mapping if required.

Developing and documenting Integration Test and Data Migration Test plans based on functional specifications

Review quality of data from source systems and advises business teams on required data cleanse

Produces data migration and reconciliation specifications
Key areas of experience will include:
-
Extensive experience in data migration, reconciliation and assurance
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (incl. Excel, Word, Access).

Extensive experience programming SQL
-
Experience of working within Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Extensive knowledge of different data formats such as Tab delimited, CSV and Fixed Width.
