Networking and Security Project Engineer/Coordinator
We have an immediate requirement for a Networking and Security Project Engineer/Coordinator with expertise in project management/coordination and control.
You will provide support for multiple projects and be the interface liaising between the implementation team and the business.
As the Networking and Security Project Engineer/Coordinator you will be responsible for producing statistics relating to the actions taken by the project managers and will attend regular meetings with the customer to manage the required changes. We are searching for someone who can also provide advice on the following technologies: Security and applications (VPN, Firewalls, intrusion detection), Proxies and reverse proxies, Remote access (IPSEC VN, SSL VPN), MPLS technology, Switching/routing technologies and Load balancing infrastructures and techniques.
Essential Knowledge/Skills:
- At least 7 years of experience in the domain of network and/or security services.
- At least 3 years of experience in the domain of Project Management/Team Lead
- Good expertise in People Management
- Good knowledge of security environments
- Good knowledge of Proxy and reverse proxies, remote access solutions
- Good knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches range
- Good knowledge of network technologies
- knowledge of wireless access solutions
- Abilities to produce detailed technical documents, reports, work plans, technical training, impact analysis.
Desirable:
- PMI certification is a plus
- ITIL V3 certification is a plus
- Speak both English and French.
