For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for a
Windows System Administrator (2372)

Production Services Switzerland is part of a global organization (GSO) and provides 1st level support for multiple technologies (Windows, Unix/Linux, Oracle and MS-SQL) on a 24/7 basis for systems located in Switzerland.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
• Configure, monitor and maintain email applications or virus protection software.
Main duties include:
• 24/7 Shift Work
• Incident Management (1st Level Support)
• Change Management (mainly SW-Deployments & script execution)
• Operational Requests (Service Requests, User-/Account Management)

Your qualification:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Basic ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software as it related to LAN/WAN.
• Education/Experience:
• Ideally an associate's degree in computer related field required. Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
• 2-4 years experience required.
• Experience Microsoft Windows Systems Administrator
• Nice to have: basic MS-SQL Server Database Administration and/or Unix/Linux Systems Administration
• Ready/willing to learn additional technologies
• Good MS Office skills is an advantage
• Scripting knowledge (VBS, VBA, C-Sharp) is an advantage
