These are your Tasks in this role:
You are part of the Oracle DBA team running the DB infrastructure incl. further development, maintenance and setup of new DB entities.
You ensure availability and performance of databases.
You are responsible for proactive and capacity management of databases.
You support internal Software Developers all around the use of the DBs.
You make sure that Backup- and Disaster Recovery Planning is in place.
You are planning, designing and implementing ETL interfaces as required by the stakeholders.
The following skills are required:
Several years of experience in Oracle DBA function running on UNIX (AIX).
Proficiency Oracle Planning, implementation and administration Oracle 11g (12c)
Profound experience in PL/SQL and best practises and DBE task in collaboration with developers would be a plus.
You have know-how about installation and use of High Availability and Disaster Recovery components; Oracle Data Guard etc.
Ideally you have hands on experience as Sybase DBA on AIX too.
You are ready for on-call duty (7 days in a row)
English is must - German would be an advantage
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
