Credit Risk Analyst
One of our large investment banking clients is looking for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst
This will involve renegotiating existing trading agreements, managing credit limits between the current legal entity and establishing new ones in the new entity.
You will work with other team members who are dedicated to particular sub-sets of the portfolio.
Core function is to manage counterparty risk through the cycle - from initial due diligence & counterparty analysis, setting risk appetite and assigning credit rating through the annual review process, trade approvals and portfolio monitoring
Daily interaction with other departments - Front Office (Limit Setting/trade approvals), Legal & Compliance (docs negotiation), Client On-boarding (Due Diligence), Credit Control (limit exceptions)
Involvement with change projects within the team, and across the department, as we continually look to improve how we operate and manage risks.
Experience as a Credit Analyst in a Counterparty Credit Risk Management team
Ideally looking for a relevant Degree Qualification - mathematics, economics, science or law subjects or equivalent experience
Languages - fluent English and additional language skills are required (French, German or Spanish)
Excel Skills - Advanced.
Product knowledge: Derivatives, Futures Clearing, Repo and Stock Lending. Competence in negotiating credit terms in product related master trading agreements.
Soft Skills: Ability to work in a diligent & principled manner within a team, to reach shared goals and deadlines

Degree in relevant subject - maths, economics, science
