LOCATION: North East of England
RATE: £30-45 per hour
LENGTH: 3-6 Months
I have a project requirement for a client based in the North East of England, for a an experienced Motor Control Software Engineer. My client manufactures commercial electric vehicles for a range of industries such as food/beverage, utility, retail and postal delivery etc.
They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to specify, develop, validate and launch the embedded SW control/diagnostic/safety strategies used in the electric motors of road going commercial electric vehicles deployed in World markets.
There is the chance for remote working but the initial stage of the project will require you to be on site.
Day to day duties:
- Write Embedded C on DSP
- Write algorithms for a DSP
- Validation Testing
- Vehicle level testing
Essential Skills:
- Experience in Motor Control
- Knowledge of motor concepts
- Embedded C
- Algorithm writing

- Full life cycle experience
- Automotive experience
Desirable Skills:
- MATLAB,
- LabVIEW
- Simulink
- dSpace
