About the Application Support (SQL, Oracle, C#, Java) - Investment Banking role:Hatstand is a specialist IT Consultancy who operates within Investment banking. Our Core focus is within Trading Systems, Data Management, Connectivity and Regulatory change. This position falls under our HGB programme which is a talent development programme which aims to aid young professionals in breaking into the Investment Banking arena or develop their career further.
This position is within a Leading Top Tier Investment Bank working within a close knit Production Support Team providing support across multiple asset classes. This role will see you work within a 2nd line capacity utilising your UNIX and SQL skillsets to support the STP Trading Products and Market Data.
The HGB Programme will run for 18 months in which you would represent Hatstand on client site. Throughout the programme you will be given full support and pastoral care from the various teams within Hatstand to benefit your career as well as gaining access to our network of SME's to build on your skillsets and learn new skills.
The core skillset required for the Application Support (SQL, Oracle, C#, Java):
- UNIX
- SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE
- 1-5 years financial experience
- Knowledge of OO programming languages - C#, Java
- Scripting language-such as Bash.
