Senior Network Engineer
Exciting new opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join a first class company with excellent work environment and culture.
You will be responsible for an enterprise network and supporting network connectivity to our external customers. You will be responsible for managing our enterprise data and voice networks (including security, performance, scalability, etc), network administration and maintenance, technical leadership on design and architecture of all infrastructure projects, collaborate with the business and other technical team members, lead system deployment projects, work closely with vendors on projects, maintain network documentation & standards, research and do proof of concept and pilots of new technology, and provide support. You will spend 80% of your time on Cisco and 20% on Windows.
This is an initial 6 month contract with option to extend and there "may" be an opportunity to convert. Excellent opportunity to make an impact and work with a top notch team and a fantastic company culture. Flex hours and alternative work schedule including option for a 4 day work week.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 7+ years as a Network Engineer with LAN/WAN administration
- Network Architecture experience (building networks from the ground up)
- 7+ years of Cisco experience including Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, and Cisco UCM
- 7+ years of Windows experience including Active Directory
- Strong VMware experience
- Firewalls/Security
- F5, OSI, TCP/IP, VPN, BGP
- T1/SONET
- Technical Lead experience on infrastructure projects
- Experience with high availability architecture
- Consultative personality and excellent communication skills
