Description

The candidate would be assisting with DNS domain migration activities and wireless site migrations. Additionally, the candidate would be continuing-to-completion the work of standing up wireless, authentication, and guest wireless infrastructure. The candidate would be responsible for testing and documenting the services being implemented and transitioned.

Candidate must be local.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Domain Name Systems (DNS)/Internet name resolution.
  • Candidate must be proficient in the operation and management of DNS, and understand the fundamentals of its function and operation on the Internet.
  • Cisco Routers
  • Cisco Unified Wireless Networking (CUWN)/Cisco lightweight/controller-based wireless
  • Candidate must be able to manage, configure, operate, Cisco wireless LAN controllers, access-points, and Cisco Prime for wireless management (former WCS/NCS).
  • Candidate must also be able to configure, manage, and support Cisco ISE for wireless authentication AND wireless guest management functions in ISE.
  • Candidate must understand the concepts of WLC anchoring and mobility groups.
  • Experience with Infoblox DDI is preferable.
  • Strong communications and documentation skills a must.
  • Ability to use SharePoint and other basic office software applications.
  • Core networking understanding is necessary ( ie Cisco LAN/WAN switching/routing).
  • Understanding of Firewall concepts. Configuration and management of Firewalls not required.
  • Network DNS resolution expert.
  • Centralized controller managing all access points.
  • Experience with Guest Wireless Services eg. public wifi splash pages.
