My highly successful, market leading and rapidly growing FMCG client require a Desktop Support Analyst to support their ambitious growth plans!

This role will require travel between London Based HQ, Milton Keynes and Birmingham

Description

The Desktop Support Analyst will be required to complete the following Role/Duties:

  • Handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues across several sites.
  • Ensure proper communication and quick resolution of issues.
  • Plan and schedule changes, coordinating with different stakeholders.
  • Perform RCA for major incidents, resolving the root of the issue.
  • Suggest/implement improved ways of working (new software and hardware opportunities)
  • Follow quality/security process defined for the engagement.
  • Hardware troubleshooting and vendor coordination
  • Participate in business meetings with various stake holders on a need basis
  • Travel to manufacturing sites as required

Profile

To be successful within this Desktop Support Analyst role the right candidate will need the following demonstrable experience:

Essential Skills

  • MS Active Directory
  • Windows 7/8
  • MS Office suite
  • LAN & WAN networking
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008
  • Knowledge of MS Exchange 2010
