Mid Level Data Scientist
I have an exciting Contract position for a Mid level Data Scientist for a growing Global Company in Amsterdam where you will be working onsite at a very well known financial end client.
As the Data Scientist you are the specialist in the field of advanced data analytics and you will have a broad role as a Data Scientist.
To help to grow the Advanced Data Analytics Department I am looking for a Data Scientist with:
University degree (Computer Science with Artificial intelligence/machine learning, applied econometrics, actuarial science, applied mathematics/statistics, or similar.)
Minimum 4 years experience in a relevant field, of which at least 2 years in an advisory role in the field of big data and modelling
Experience with statistical (regression, clustering and classification), descriptive and diagnostic methods and knowledge of predictive analysis
Experience with one of the following programming languages or similar: R (ISO) SQL or Pig Latin and Java, Scala, Python, and one of the the following or similar tools: RapidMiner, R, Matlab, NEO4j, SAS Enterprise Miner, IBM SPSS Modeler, Python Pandas (Python Data Analysis Library) is a plus
Experience with Hadoop would be a bonus (with and without YARN) and the MapReduce framework and with at least one of the Hadoop-related database systems: Hive, Pig, HBase, Impala, Spark SQL
