Description
Major retailer requires a Python Developer with extensive experience to develop and enhance tools across the organisation to improve the quality of consistency of data across financial systems, and in particular reconciliations.This is a contract role for the length of 9 months, competitive rate, based in Central London. Successful candidates will play a role in the full development cycle of products, working within an Agile team. You will also be responsible for the mentoring of more junior developers providing technical leadership in design, testing & software delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous Python development experience
- Understanding of Standard libraries
- TDD
- Relational Databases
- Experience with NoSQL (document oriented) databases would be beneficial
- Experience of JVM based languages & workflow
- Experience of Python development in finance would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
