Telecommunications Solution Deployment ManagerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Telecommunications Solution Deployment Manager to join their business in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:
- Leading the tri-partite Deployment Team from the client, the MVNO and a major UK mobile operator
- Creating the deployment and pilot strategy/approach and obtaining buy-in from all interested parties
- Confirming the strategy and approach with the wider MVNO Business to ensure full understanding and cooperation
- Working with virtual teams from all parties to produce the run-books describing the phases of deployment and pilot
- Running the rehearsals and analysing the output
- Supporting the MVNO in delivering the Pilots that overlap with the deployment phases
- Co-ordinating the activities of multiple 3rd Parties leading up to, and including, the cutover
- Managing the overall actions of all responsible parties on the night of the cutover
- Providing post-cutover support and ensuring a successful handover to Manages Services
- Participating proactively as a senior member of the Programme Management Team and providing positive support to the other Team members
- Maintaining normal project management documentation (project plans, reports, forecasts, RAID registers etc) to a very high standard, and providing ad hoc reports as required from time to time
- Note that this role will be based at the customer site and may require occasional meetings at 3 rd party sites within the UK
Qualifications:
- Diploma, degree or above in a technical discipline related to telecommunications engineering
- 10 years or above BSS/IT/Telco technical background
- Strong management experience and excellent leadership skills
- Excellent Project Management skills in a customer-facing environment
- Proven ability to interact and lead in a multicultural environment
- Experience with deployment of large scale telecommunication systems
- Co-operate with customers, internal business unit organisations, and third party vendors
- Display strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Perform as part of a team
- Provide concise and clear reports, both written and verbal
- Deliver fluent communication in English
- Recognised project management qualification desirable
