Job Description

Contributes to securing an FMEA plan for the programs and projects. Secure FMEA plan definition, maintenance & execution. Drives the coordination of FMEA sessions. Facilitates the FMEA execution process for subjects assigned by the FMEA Coordinator, assures quality of FMEA execution. Follows up proactively on all open issues and formal closure of risks Secures FMEA completeness and data integrity for FMEA reporting consistency Secures risk transfers to other FMEA when required. Contributes to the accumulated knowledge and expertise in all phases of new product. development in order to reduce the level of technical risks. Aligns, reports and escalates issues in program team meeting. Follows up proactively on escalated issues on product level. Reports periodically to management. Sets up and maintains the planning and execution progress of FMEA dashboards. Creates product/project specific reporting. Secures proper attention to FMEA on all required layers within the organization. Secures the implementation of the FMEA Execution process roadmap with respect to methodology and tooling. Executes market research of state-of-the-art FMEA means and methods. Supports the FMEA way of working, methodology, process and tooling (templates, dashboards) in this company. Aligns and implements key performance indicators for securing proper FMEA execution Defines and ensures the FMEA Execution process means and methods knowledge transfer incl. training. Defines and maintains the generic FMEA reporting structure to support customer requests. Drives continuous improvement of FMEA Execution process Means & Methods.

Education

Engineering or technical master degree or similar through experience. Preferably mechatronics, mechanical or electronic engineering. Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

Experience

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 - 7 years of quality engineering experience. The experience must be obtained in a highly professional, dynamic surroundings Experience in a product development and/or manufacturing environment. Project management and facilitation experience. People management and coordination experience. Proven, general technical knowledge (electrical, mechanical, physics, software,..)

Personal skills

Ability to manage complex relationships between various professional disciplines and organizational levels. Interested in technical engineering matters and environment. Excellent presentation, workshop facilitation and interpersonal skills. Professional communicator. Open minded, creativity when handling problems independently, commitment, flexibility. Strong client focus and commitment to excellence. Can cooperate effectively in multidisciplinary groups. Excellent Dutch and English verbal and written communication skills.
