Test Engineer - Routing and Switching - Italian Speaking - Milan, Italy - Contract
MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Technical liaison with support and/or Engineering groups within Company to resolve issues and meet or exceed the service level defined for the customer.
- Drive the technical intervention process from start to successful completion
- Pursue 100% customer satisfaction.
- Customer Advocacy maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- To work in liaison with Customer personnel to ensure together we provide high quality services to Company quality standards.
- Working as a team to help the development of others by sharing good practices, skills and most important of all knowledge.
- Participate in on-site commissioning, acceptance testing.
- It is expected that our engineering staff will continually strive to improve their skills and competencies to their benefit and the companies.
- Provision of on-the-job training for customers required by orders
- Upgrades - hardware/software/NMS in lab environment
QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE AND FORMAL TRAINING
- Typically between 3 & 7 years industry Telecommunications/IT experience
- Experience in a technical support or project engineering role, track record in an engineering.
- Strong experience of technical service and support of Telecommunication/IT Networks.
- Experience in customer technical or service situations that require excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Italian and English speaking
- Hands-on configuration knowledge of Routers and Switches
- Experience on Company equipment especially 8600, 8800 and 8000 INM is an advantage.
- Traffic generator and analyzers knowledge is an advantage.
