Packaging EngineerA global pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation is urgently looking for a Packaging Engineer to support a process transfer project incorporating new equipment.
Location: Basel area, Switzerland
Duration: 12 months
Role and responsibilities:
• Vendor liaison with occasional travel to other European sites and vendor offices
• Detailed design of line layout and installation schedules.
• Review the current URS and FRS for a blister packaging line and update / re-write these to ensure that the users' functional and technical requirements are met
• Support generation of design layouts and other technical documents
• Manager vendor negotiations and schedules
• Coordinate the installation of the packaging equipment together with the project's Construction Manager
• Lead the execution of commissioning and qualification tests
• Support the user team during the execution of OQ/PQ protocols and ensure smooth handover
Requirements:
• Degree educated in Mechanical / Process / Pharmaceutical Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent in German and English language
• Experience in the design and execution of pharmaceutical engineering projects
• Knowledge of and experience working with packaging processes and equipment
