Infrastructure Project Manager - Belgium

Location: Belgium

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months + extension

Daily Rate: €Negotiable

My client is a leader in the telecommunications industry and is looking recruit a Technical Project Manager to be based in their Belgium offices. The Technical Project Manager will have a technical background in the Infrastructure space more specifically in Unix and Oracle. The Project Manager will be responsible for running large scale infrastructure programs within LAN/OS/Storage/Hardware spaces.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Oracle and Unix Project Management.
  • Experience of running and managing large scale Infrastructure projects covering LAN/Storage/OS/Hardware up to the delivery of the environment to the development team.
  • 2+ years of experience of Project Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in the following:
  • Server virtualisation techniques
  • Oracle Solaris environments
  • SAN and SAN switching
  • Network design
  • web infrastructures
  • redundancy and recovery
  • IP addressing
  • cabling and infrastructure management and monitoring
