IT Desktop Support - Leitrim Location - 6 month contract
This reputable organisation is now seeking to recruit an experienced IT Desktop Support to come on board for an initial 6 month contract.
The main responsibilities include:
* Monitor and resolve the incident and request tickets within agreed SLAs.
* Participate in a 24 x 7 on call rota.
* Server Room management functions including out of hours access management for 3rd party vendors.
* Acts as the first point of support for system issues
* Complete user hardware moves and hardware refresh requests
* Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves functional and technical problems and business critical incidents
* Working with 3rd party vendors to ensure essential maintenance work is completed.
* Completion of Ad-Hoc Management requests in a timely and accurate manner.
* Maintains a knowledge base of known defects and issues, process, techniques.
To be considered for this position you must possess the following:
* Experience in supporting Windows operating systems, MS Office, Adobe, Internet Explorer.
* Prior experience within a similar support role.
* Ability to demonstrate logical and methodical thought process.
* Proactive, enquiring approach and a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to communicate across all levels of authority.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate work efficiently.
* Self-motivated, ability to work unsupervised and manage time accordingly.
