Finance Service Centre Manager

Paying up to £250 per day based in Birmingham.

Our client is a global engineering company seeking a Finance Manager to manage their finance service centre staff. The Financial Services Center consists of Purchase ledger, Credit control, Expenses, Cash Bank and Treasury transactions and VAT.

This role will cover the staff management of 9 employees across the sections mentioned above and will take on the responsibility of the VAT, Cash forecasting and Treasury. The successful candidate will have excellent staff management skills and experience and will have a wide a varied knowledge of experience. You will also have the experience to completely take control of VAT, Cash and Treasury.

Key Experiences and Qualification Requirements
Experience of staff management essential
Experience of VAT returns including intrastats and EC sales
High organisational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to inspire the team to work together and improve efficiency
Experience of dealing with complex information from multiple sources
Professionally qualified accountant or equivalent preferable
Experience of managing transactional processing areas ideally purchase ledger and credit control
Hands on approach
