A health provider in the LA area is currently seeking for an experienced IT Director.

Responsibilities
* Lead and be accountable for all local IT service delivery, including prioritization of Field Services Organization (FSO) work
* Provide strategic and tactical alignment planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems for the facility to accomplish IT goals and to meet local IT needs, in accordance with IT strategy, standards and governance processes
* Develop facility-specific IT operations policies and approaches for computing and information technology
* Stay informed about and communicates the future direction of standard systems
* Educate local leadership how the strategic IT direction will impact the facility, and how future and current systems can best be optimized for the facility's benefit
* Oversees the facility's computer operations of Management Information Systems, including local area networks and wide area networks
* As the Facility Data Security Official, participate in the oversight, training and enforcement of system-wide and local data security policies
* Initiates, oversee and be accountable for IT project management at the facility level
* Develop and maintain the approved annual operations and capital budgets for the facility IT systems
* Coordinate with various teams to ensure that all information systems and networks operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies, and legal requirements, including HIPAA
* Ensure that all initiatives in the facility IT portfolio have clear business goals and success metrics where appropriate
* Coordinate with IT infrastructure support teams to maintain a stable environment, including network, desktops, telecommunications and servers
* Coordinate the resolution of complex problems related to facility clinical and business applications and workflows
* Actively participates in the implementation and planning of facility IT projects
* Work collaboratively with Biomedical Engineering staff as a resource for evaluation of clinical equipment purchases as it pertains to network use, power sources, compatibility with existing hardware and software, and adherence to data security policies
* Use IT Project Management Office (PMO) tools, such as PPM, and methodologies in order to submit, document and track local IT projects

Experience and Education
Minimum Required:
* 5 years Information Systems experience in a Healthcare setting
* 5 years Leadership experience

* Advanced degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business or Healthcare required
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience required
