Description
Description:Will be supporting the end-to-end biologics initiative to develop an in silico computational tool that can predict the viscosity of antibodies and enable molecular engineering for improved develop-ability attributes. The scientist will provide experimental viscosity data for a library of antibodies to support the development of the in vitro modelling effort. In addition, he/she will be carrying out various biophysical characterization such as DSC and aSEC to ensure these engineered variants retain the desired stability criteria.
Responsibilities:
- Molecular assessment of the engineered variants using various bioanalytical techniques (ie., DSC, DLS, aSEC).
- Generate viscosity data using Anton-Paar rheometer.
SKILLS:
Qualifications:
- BA/BS with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Effective bench scientist; proficient in a range of general lab techniques.
- Knowledgeable in bioanalytical techniques such as DSC, aSEC and DLS.
- Ideal to have experience with protein purification.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Able to grasp complex procedures and adapt appropriately.
- Ability to complete experiments with limited supervision and present results in group settings.
- Experience with using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, MS Word
- Excellent communication skills.
