Description
A leading provider in the Northern California area needs a project manager to oversee the activities of cross-functional teams. Areas covered within the project include but are not limited to implementations, networking, operations, support, hardware platforms, and application interfacing. This position is directed with minimal supervision, so this person needs to be confident and able to take full responsibility for the projects. This project manager will be required to oversee the design, creation, implementation, maintenance, risks, work plans, and follow up of the project. All components of the project are expected to be completed on time and within budget.Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in management, computer science, administration, or other healthcare related fields; the right combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
*Previous experience with project management and leadership experience
*Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
*Understanding of current healthcare trends and strategies in respect to information technology
*Expert knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
*Proficient working with MS project and MS Office Suite
*Must be organized and able to problem solve effectively
This position is for a 12 month contract and pays $85-$130 per hour.
