The Project Manager will manage a number of cross-functional projects on a day-to-day basis. The Project Manager will interact with technical teams, production, commercial, Finance and IT teams and will ensure the successful delivery of a range of project workstreams within the overall Project.

The Project Manager will maintain timelines & costs and ensure all projects are fully resourced. The key elements of the Project include;

  • Site infrastructure review - potentially requiring the identification of new storage facilities and then managing the transition to such new facilities
  • Installation of new equipment on-site
  • SAP implementation
  • Integration of new business on a phased basis
  • Assisting with HR elements of the above including assisting with potential recruitment

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders of the Project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project resources
  • Manage the project budget
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results

Qualifications & experience:

  • Third Level qualification
  • Experience of managing projects in a GMP environment
  • Experience of SAP implementation projects,
  • Experience of SAP implementation projects in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
  • Technical knowledge in Pharma would be an advantage
  • PM and/or ITIL Qualification
  • Excellent client facing, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

The role demands a well-organised approach, underpinned by the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both verbally and in writing. Reliability, IT literacy and the ability to plan and complete projects to set timelines is essential.
