Job Profile RF Repair Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Research & Development:
- To develop repair capability on new products;
- To develop additional repair capability on existing products;
- Defining test philosophies with written procedures.
Reverse Engineering:
- Provide accurate component level diagnostics over a wide range of telecommunications products without the need for technical documentation;
- Provide significant amount of product repair over a diverse range of equipment on a consistent basis at a high rate of quality.
Job requirements RF Repair Engineer
- Reverse Engineering: Provide accurate component level diagnostics over a wide range of telecommunications products without the need for technical documentation;
- Provide significant amount of product repair over a diverse range of equipment on a consistent basis at a high rate of quality;
- Maintain the required customer service level agreements for on-time delivery and failure mode analysis;
- Update failure data collection database with detailed analysis of repair performed;
- Maintain Open Order report and provide management updates at serial number level;
- Update Open Order report comment section for units waiting on components;
- Update Open Order report comment section for units waiting due to test stand issues;
- Maintain re-return percentage at or below target established by the Quality team;
- Maintain unrepairable percentage at or below target set by Quality management team;
- Participation in planning meetingsas requested;
- Participate in management supported cross-training program (flexmatrix);
- Practice Electro static discharge awareness in order to prevent accidental damage to equipment;
- Assist in maintaining lab equipment and calibration requirements;
- Be an active, positive team member that contributes to the overall team.
