Description

About Experience Lab
We’re a user-centered design firm, headquartered in Portland, Oregon. We help clients crystallize their strategy, architect innovative solutions based on user needs, and create memorable interactive experiences that delight and further brand/business goals.
We are a team of smart, curious, and disciplined people with a collaborative approach to solving design problems. We work together across disciplines and, in some cases, across time zones to arrive at thoughtful, innovative, and effective solutions.

About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level Visual Designer on a freelance, Independent Contractor, basis. The opportunity exists to build a long-term relationship with follow-on work based on your performance.
The ideal candidate has agency experience, a solid foundation in strategic design, puts that knowledge to use in visually stunning and effective ways, is fluent in current design best practices, and passionate about all things interactive. You notice minute detail without losing focus on the big picture. The ability to interpret and then translate a variety of Strategy and User Experience deliverables into quality design deliverables is critical. The ability to leverage design to solve complex business problems is also a must.
You’re a friendly, smart, curious and motivated individual who works collaboratively, communicates eloquently, listens intently and loves what they do.
