Main Responsibilities
Resolve Chronic Problems of the Network with an End to End approach
Resolve Technical Problems escalated from L2 Operations
Work with Internal Customers to meet their requirements, make recommendations for solutions,help
project integration, and pioneer about new technologies.
Perform technical audits to find out network defects/problems in a proactive way
Generate bestpractices and a solution knowledge base,Transfer Information and Competence through
presentation meetings and technical trainings Taking/Suggesting actions to improve KPIs and Process
Work closely with all internal customers, play a supportive role to add a value Vendor Contact and Evaluation for escalated technical problems Proactively assesses potential items of risks and opportunities
Technical Skills
Strong Experience and Troubleshooting skills at Oracle,SQL Server and MySQL
Advanced level knowledge in Clustering, Disaster Recovery, Backup/Restore
Experience at Database security and Audits
Advanced level knowledge on the following subjects: RAC, ASM, FRA ( Fast Recovery), RMAN
Experience at Migration/Upgrade/Patch and Database defect resolution
Experience at Performance Tuning, Database and System Performance Monitoring, Capacity Planning
and other Oracle Applications (Grid Control/Goldengate)
Knowledge at ILM(subset/masking/archiving)
Able to coordinate Oracle ACS/Microsoft
Able to analyze new releases at Oracle/Sql Server / My SQL / Sybase
Advanced level knowledge and experience on Storage and Server and clustering technologies and
Operating Systems (Sun Solaris/HP/IBM Unix,Linux and Windows)
