Network Engineer Cisco Juniper
(Senior and mid level positions)
MUST have Cisco/Juniper mix
Brisbane CBD and Fortitude - IMMEDIATE start opportunity, 6 months initially + extensions
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide design and implementation support to our existing network engineers. You will continue ongoing project based work across several high profile Clients.
The shared services Network team supporting LAN/WAN Cisco Juniper services
Provide strategic direction for Client solutions
Assist with the review of the technical solutions (in a project capacity).
Provide systems/network design and implementation support to ensure smooth and effective migration to new technology/versions
Manage, support and maintain the network environment meeting the organizations standards of security, quality, reliability and efficiency
What are we looking for? Ideally you will be experienced with the following;
Scope for Routing & Switching
Working knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP
Working knowledge of Switching
Ability to conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting
Conduct Routers & Switches Configuration Audits & extract relevant data into reports
Draw Visio network diagrams based on configuration audits
Conduct staging of Routers & Switches based on configurations provided by Senior Engineers
General understanding of cabling (copper, fibre etc) & Cisco/Juniper Hardware
Ability to follow implementation plan & conduct field deployments
Ability to work autonomously
Strong communication skills - verbal & written
Certifications
CCNA/JNCIA-JUNOS (must for a junior)
CCNP/JNCIS (or relevant work experience) - must for mid-level engineer
CCIP/CCIE/JNCIP/JNCIE (optional)
Excellent written and verbal skills are mandatory
Systems Integrator/Managed Services/Utilities type background highly regarded.
