Electrical Technician - 6 months - Bristol
A leading Energy and Utility client of Hyphen is looking for an Electrical Technician to join one of their sites at Avonmouth, near Bristol.
Full UK driving license required
Job Purpose:
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections and installations of electrical equipment at Avonmouth Liquefied Natural Gas Storage facility along with conduction regular plant maintenance, responding to breakdowns and providing standby cover as required.
Experience Required:
We require a time-served Electrical Technician by trade, with Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Water industry (or suitable relevant industry) experience.
The candidate will need to have demonstrable experience of installation and maintenance electrical systems in a hazardous environment.
Qualifications Required:
*Apprenticeship in relevant field or C&G (or equivalent) plus proven by experience
Job Dimensions:
Reports to the Maintenance Delivery Engineer, with no direct reports or budgetary responsibility.
Key Tasks:
Responsible for the maintenance, repair and fault finding of site electrical and LNG assets
Additional Information:
The candidate will need to have a full UK driving license and access to their own vehicle due to the location of the site
The successful candidate will need to participate in a standby roster and will occasional be required to attend callout to site.
