QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five years of experience in an enterprise application environment of which three years must have been in an analytical capacity with demonstrated project management skills.
- Experience must have occurred within the past seven years.
- Experience with application integration and support with extensive interaction with the user community and web based reporting tools preferred.
- Demonstrated success working with and through people in establishing goals, objectives and action plans to produce expected results.
- Two years of experience creating and executing SQL queries using management tools.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge and commitment to decentralized decision-making, and accountability for results.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of the team to facilitate/participate in the implementation of distributed administrative applications that achieve expected results.
- Ability to interact effectively and use analytical skills to review information, identify important issues and formulate alternative solutions to problems in area of responsibility.
- Ability to remain current with changing technology in an enterprise/distributed Systems Development environment.
- Skills in teaching and training techniques as they apply to the adult learner.
- Ability to think and function logically in a multi-tasking environment.
- Ability to estimate time/manpower allocations.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide services that support the development life cycle of enterprise automated student applications necessary for compliance with state statute, school board policy, and operational efficiency. Assignment and responsibility will be specific to a minimum of one of the following functional areas: Student registration, demographics, school assignment, scheduling, attendance, student behavior, pupil progression, gradebook, grades, report cards, test scores, one identification card, and Florida DOE requirements.
- Create SQL queries in order to update and create student reports.
- Work with business specialists and subject matter experts to acquire and keep up-to-date a knowledge base of the Learning Communities and district operational processes in assigned functional area at a level sufficient and necessary to evaluate, implement, and support new or existing administrative technology solutions.
- Work with team members to develop their technical skills in areas such as troubleshooting vendor supplied software, problem resolution, implementation of new or enhanced software features, and technical support.
- Keep the Assistant Director, Student Systems and the Director, Applications informed about issues and incidents about which they should be aware.
