Role: Recovery & Resolution Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Rate: up to £450 per day (contract)
Duration: 6 months
As a result of the financial crisis, Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) is now an important function for regulated banks in the UK. As part of any new licence application, banks have to submit to the regulators Recovery and Resolution documentation to meet new legislation. This role will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Risk, Strategy and Treasury teams to produce these documents, interacting with both the regulators and the senior management team.
This role requires the following skills and experience:
- Financial services experience
- Recovery/Resolution experience
- Qualified Accountant is highly preferred
- Must have experience of financial modelling, gathering data from multiple sources and interpreting and assessing the quality of data
- Have an understanding/knowledge of capital and liquidity
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
- Strong communications skills including interacting with senior level stakeholders.
