A global pharmaceutical company is looking for an Interim Head of Engineering to oversee their site in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for ongoing projects on site. The successful candidate will have a chance to have an input as well as make a difference.
Site:
Secondary manufacturing site in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
Approx. 10 billion tablets manufactured per year.
Location: Saxony-Anhalt, Germany
Start: 1st December 2014
Duration: 6-12 months contract
Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee and co-ordinate the client site in Saxony-Anhalt.
Manage stakeholders and report into the steering committee.
Supervise Engineering and Maintenance teams on site.
Ensure all standards are kept up-to-date and harmonised with processes on site.
Ensure processes run smoothly.
Co-ordinate budgets, timelines and approvals for projects on site.
Advise on technical issues throughout the duration of the ongoing projects.
Represent the company's Global Engineering department on site and ensure that corporate and regulatory guidelines are adhered to.
Requirements:
Pharmaceutical Engineering background (mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering or similar).
Background within the (bio-) pharmaceutical industry, GMP/FDA experience.
Previous experience as Head of Manufacturing/Production,Engineering Head or similar.
Extensive Oral Solid Dosage experience.
Very good understanding of operation and maintenance processes.
Experience dealing with high end strategies, upgrade projects, installation of new production lines, full life cycle projects etc.
Budget experience.
Fluent German and English skills - spoken and written.
Able to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders from various different backgrounds.
Able to work in a highly pressurised environment and to drive projects forward.
