IT Support Agent
Position required: IT Helpdesk Engineer
Contract duration: 6 months
Location: Dublin city centre

One of the largest IT service providers in the world and is involved in everything from application and infrastructure services to business consulting and telecommunications. They are currently looking for a driven, self-disciplined and customer-focussed individual to fill a position onsite in Dublin city centre as an IT support agent.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to deal with any client issues promptly, including troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software malfunctions. In particular, the candidate will provide onsite technical support for hardware and Microsoft office issues.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
Certificate/diploma in IT qualification
2 or more years' experience in a similar role/environment
Knowledge of Microsoft OS
Previous experience in PC/desktop/laptop repair
Experience installing and configuring patches, drivers, support packs and other hardware
Experience in troubleshooting hardware and WIFI network issues
Excellent attention to detail and team player, decision making and communication (oral and written) skills

Desirable skills:
Experience with Lotus Notes configuration
