A leading retail bank based in Halifax currently requires a Project Manager to join a major regulatory change programme, initially for 3 months.

This legal and Regulatory project will ensure minimum standards are maintained and provided on Bank Accounts.

Key duties/responsibilities:-

  • Managing a workstream on a large programme of work
  • Stakeholder & Risk management
  • Production/management of the project plans, budget tracker etc for the workstream
  • Production of key project governance documentation

Key skills/experience:-

  • Experienced in managing change in Financial Services
  • Ability to manage relationships developing good understanding with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to re-prioritise tasks and respond to unforeseen challenges as and when they arise
  • Experience in the use of Project Management tools such as MSP, as well as proficient in other Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint
  • Ability to lead and task manage a team of people to deliver the required results
  • Experience of managing budgets and producing regular cost summaries of forecast & spend to date
  • Ability to produce packs for various committees/forums that are pitched at the appropriate level and to the required standard
  • Qualified to APMP (or equivalent) level
