Technology Project Manager
9 month contract
€550 - €600 per day
Geel, Belgium
Our client, an international giant in their industry, is seeking to appoint a Technology project Manager to join their manufacturing division on site in Geel, Belgium. As the Technology project Manager you will be responsible for managing our client's regional and local infrastructure projects with a particular emphasis on manufacturing and manufacturing systems.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage regional and local infrastructure projects with varying levels of complexity
- Specify project requests, taking into account the IT guidelines and procedures
- Group, prioritize and optimize those requests
- Take responsibility for gathering project requirements, define/document solutions and associated cost pictures
- Responsible for assembling project teams, identifying appropriate resources needed, develop and execute project plans, and assign individual responsibilities
- Assist the business in developing risk mitigation strategies for changes
- Participate in change "go/no go" decisions
- Develop and maintain topology diagrams
- Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure IT commitment dates and project deliverables are met
- Deliver projects within requested timeframe and budget
Non-Technical profile requirements
- Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems like MES, Historian and automation systems is a plus

Qualifications & Certification
Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
Additional PMI, or similar, certification is a plus
