Corporate Risk Manager - CTC, IRM, Audit, HMT, MORBased in Liverpool with occasional travel to Darlington

Main Required Skills:-
5-6 Years Recent Experience in Corporate Risk Management
CTC (Counter Terrorism Clearance) Security Clearance Will be Required Prior to Start.
3 Years Experience at a Strategic Level Presenting to Boards, Audit Committees, Directors and Senior Stakeholders within a Senior Risk Management Role
Have Provided Advice, Support and Appropriate Challenge.
Confident and Articulate Presenter and Facilitator.
Proven Experience of Faciliting Multifunctional Groups of Senior Managers
Experience in Influencing and have Exceptional Interpersonal and Communicational Skills
IRM - International Diploma or Equivalent
Experience in embedding RM into the Wider Organisational Framework.
Experience of Organisations at Different Stages of RM Maturity
Desirable Experience:-
MoR or Prince 2 with Financial Awareness
Knowledge of Risk Management Systems
Knowledge of HMT Guidance on Risk Management
My major central government client is urgently looking to fill a Senior Corporate Risk Manager's role where you will ideally come from a similar background and have current and valid CTC - Counter Terrorism Clearance clearance although my client will consider non security cleared candidates should you have exceptional Risk Management experience although you will need to have the ability to pass this type of security clearance prior to the contract start date.
You will provide guidance at all levels on the application of risk management process and formal requirements for corporate governance maintaining the coporate risk register and ensure quarterly review of Corporate Risks as well as presenting guidance and support to multifunctional groups, Boards, Audit Committees, Directors and senior Stakeholders and therefore will also have previous experience in this area also.
